- Served as prime minister from 1999-2000
- Medvedev was the 10th prime minister of Russia

- 5 federal services and 30 government agencies
- Vladimir Putin was a president from 2000-2008
- Way to get rid of the leader: overthrow the leader, assassination, start a revolution, impeachment, protest, vote a third party candidate
Syria
- Has a republic under Bashar al-Assad president
- He terms are 7 years long and has served 2
- Syria is a republic and does have elections but they are rigged
- Bashar al-Assad has been lead by June 20th, 2000
- He has been elected twice in a rigged election
- In Syria the first time he was elected
- No other way than assassination because he uses chemical warfare and violence against his own people
Japan
- Has been around since 660 B.C
- Has a parliamentary government with a constitutional monarchy Emperor Akihito and Prime Minister
- Akihito is the reigning Emperor of Japan
- He acceded to the throne in 1989
- They also have a Prime Minister
- Abe was Japan's first Prime Minister born after WWII
- was re elected in December 2012
