A happy day

Today is Friday, and also, today is my fourth day in JC. I still excited.

Although I think school is so horrible every morning, but I actually have a good day at school. Teacher are nice, students are nice, classroom are nice. We are happy in every class.

Today, we have a text about summer reading and the book I chose is <The Distance between us>, this is a story about love.

The heroine in this book was born in a poor family. She and her mother business a doll store and they live in the doll store at night. One day, a guy who with the expensive clothes come in and buy a doll. The heroine is so amazing that the rich people come to her store. And soon, she full in love. Then, a day, the hero take the heroine to a party, and give she a new identity ---- a rich’s granddaughter. But the girl still very self-abased because she know there is a distance between them ---- one is the rich, and another is the poor.

In the end of the story, the writer give us a big big big surprise ---- the heroine actually has a very rich grandmother.

What a special end!!

After text, I go to class. Because of language, most of the sentence talked by teacher I can understand. But fortunately, that are still not star to teach us. And about the math(this is one of the subject I am worry about before),I can can understand what teacher are talking about.

I just have 5 classes today, so I have lots of free time.

Oh, my debit card have already gave me. My photo is soooooooo terrible.      

My first day in JC

Yesterday is my first day in John Carroll. There are many things are different with my home country ---- China.

In China, we don't have locker, we don't have to change classroom (because we have class 1, class 2, class 3 and so on and each classroom for each class' students), we have stationary recess(10 min between each class). We have lunch time in the noon, most of us will go home and some of us will stay at school and eat lunch. The class in afternoon star at 2:20 pm (my school, I don’t know other school’s). And the school end at 5:30 pm. We have to go home, eat dinner, do homework and sleep. We don’t have time to take part in any activity. For me, everything is strange and excited.

Well, I just say something about my school before. Now, let me talk about the first day in JC.

Morning, I arrived but I don’t know where I should go. So I asked my friend and they told me I have to go to find my advisor. Well, I went but I forgot to put my bag to my locker. So I carried it whole morning. That was terrible because my bag is a little bit heavy.

When I went to the English class, teacher said: ”Christina, your class is at 12:20 pm. And now is……11 o’clock.” I was so embarrassed.

But I have to say, I had a happy lunch time yesterday.

And overall, a happy day.
